Fine on the road
Legal on a private vehicle in the UK. Tell your insurer, because a modification you have not declared can void a claim.

Services
Six things we do day in, day out, plus the smaller jobs that come with them. If what you need is not listed, ring and ask.
Remapping01
Every file is written for the exact engine and gearbox in front of us, inside safe tolerances. On a car or van that means sharper throttle and stronger mid range. On a tractor or telehandler it usually means pulling the same job in a higher gear and burning less doing it.
Diagnostics02
Ten years of repair work behind the laptop. We read the stored faults, then check the thing the fault is pointing at rather than throwing parts at it. If a sensor is lying to the ECU we will find that before you buy a new one.
Carbon cleaning03
Machines that idle, tow or run on short runs build up carbon across the inlet, the EGR and the turbo. Cleaning it out restores throttle response and often sorts a limp mode or a DPF light without a single part being replaced.
Plant and agricultural04
We cover the machines that have to work whatever the week looks like. Diagnostics, remapping, AdBlue and DPF faults, and repairs on the farm rather than on a low loader to a main dealer. Downtime in the middle of a job is the thing that costs, so that is what we work around.
Trucks and vans05
A van that drops out of top gear on every hill is costing you time and fuel. We tune and diagnose commercial vehicles with mpg and driveability in mind, and we are used to working around a working week rather than taking a vehicle off the road for days.
Repairs and training06
Ten years of repairing is what the diagnostics are built on, and we still do the work. We also train other garages and workshop staff on diagnostic equipment and method, which is a large part of what we do for trade customers.
Every option
All 35 of them, with a straight answer next to each one about where it can be used. If what you want is not here, ring and ask.
The main calibrations. Each one is written for your exact engine and gearbox code, never picked off a shelf.
Automatic transmissions, on supported boxes. Send the read and we will confirm before you quote the customer.
The things you notice from the driver's seat rather than on a dyno sheet.
We diagnose and repair these. Software removal is supplied for off road and competition vehicles only, because disabling emissions equipment on a road registered car is an offence in the UK and most of Europe and an automatic MOT failure.
The jobs behind the job. Mostly trade, but worth knowing we do them.

Either it varies by platform, or the rules depend on who operates the vehicle. Ring us with the registration and we will tell you.
Not legal on a public road in the UK. We supply it for off road and competition vehicles, and the responsibility sits with the owner.
Common questions
If the car is still inside its manufacturer warranty, changing the engine software can affect a claim on the drivetrain. We will tell you where you stand before you book, and plenty of customers wait until the warranty is up.
The file is written inside the tolerances the engine was designed around, and we check the car for existing faults first. A tired engine with a slipping clutch or a boost leak will not be mapped until it is sorted.
Most cars are done in one to two hours. Anything that needs the ECU out on the bench can take longer, and we tell you that when you book rather than on the day.
Yes. Your original file is saved before we touch anything and it stays on our system, so the car can be returned to factory software at any point.

Free vehicle lookup
Put a registration in and the lookup reads the manufacturer figures for that exact engine, then shows what we would expect after mapping. Free, and nobody rings you afterwards.

Tell us what the car is and how you use it. We will tell you honestly what will make a difference and what will not.
